I'm new (or a noob) to Dameonhunters and have made an armylist. Please respond with tips on how I could improve my army and if you like it or not. Be Honest.. I don't have any tactics so some pointers in the right direction would be nice.

So here it is, 500pts of Daemonhunter goodness!.

Troops
Justicar with targert and melta bombs+ 7GK 231pts

10 Inqus ST

A good idea is to try to figure out what you want to do in growing your army to at least 1500 points.

One of the hard things for GK and the Necrons is that they do not have a great set of options for small ball. You do appear to have your bases covered for a list this small, though.

Most lists for GK prefer to have Stormtroopers in groups of 5 with plasma- making them good for killing IC's and termies. These IS could easily swap out at higher levels with just a few plasma models, so that part is good.

I would also look into getting a lot of transportation for the final build. GK is a shooty army, and 3 LR is a great core to build a list around. Or, you could go the other way and do a lot of fast-attack GK and termies, who can all deep strike- not as powerful and a bit more random, but it can give you great tactical flexibility.

An Inquisitor with astropaths is also very valuable if you face a drop pod spam-type army.

food for thought.

When you get going get termies, everybody underestimates them. But for now that is a very solid list.

O H I am in the Webway...

GKT will never be underestimated by a good / decent opponent. Even a noob opponent that has felt their wrath once won't.

At 500 points I can't think of much better. The only suggestion would be to maybe drop 2 IST's to give the BC a Psycannon. Maybe run 5 IST's and get 2x Psycannons for the GK?

Other than something like that I think the list is solid for this points value.

He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster and if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you
