This is a redonculous idea, really, but as my orks were permanently borrowed by the illegal immigrants who thought that open borders applied to my truck door as well, my Death Guard is all I have at the moment.

Sorceror, MoN, Wind of Chaos

Demon Prince, MoN, Wings, Warp Time

10 Plague Marines, 2 Plasma Guns, Champ with Fist, Rhino
10 Plague Marines, 2 Plasma Guns, Champ with Fist, Rhino
10 Plague Marines, 2 Plasma Guns, Champ with Fist, Rhino
9 Plague Marines, Meltagun, Flamer, Champ with Fist and Combi-weapon

Land Raider, Possession
Vindicator, Possession
Vindicator, Possession

Generic Greater Demon
10 Lesser Demons
10 Lesser Demons

It's not a very "'ArdBoyz-ish" list, but it should be able to handle all three missions. Sorceror and the squad with assault weapons are the spearhead in the Land Raider, with the Plasma Squads in support. Demons to provide (I hope) a moving 4+ cover save, running in front of the DG after the rapid fire plasmas but before the enemy has a chance to shoot back. Both the Sorceror and the Prince are capable of hunting those juicy 5 kill point enemy HQ choices, and as we all know DG is a pain in the ass to move off an objective.

One possible change I've considered is adding a Lash or two. I know adding Slaaneshes sexiness doesn't exactly fit in with my buboes of rottingness, but turn 1 charges with DG out of a Land Raider, clustering enemy troops for the vindicators, and general "EFF YOUing" my opponent could be awfully sexy.

Open for all thoughts and critiques...

There is an attitude that not having an insanely optimized, one shot, six stage, omnidirectional, inevitable, mousetrap of an assassin list army somehow means that you have foolishly wasted your life building 500 points of pure, 24 karat, hand rolled, fine, cuban fail. That attitude has been shown, under laboratory conditions, to cause cancer of the fun gland.

Well I don't know what models you have but I would drop the Sorcerer, replace it with another DP with the same configuration as the other one. Add a Greater Daemon. I have found that those three can stand up to some serious punishment. Drop the Plague Marines Squads to 7 or 8 guys each. They are ridiculously tough and should survive most encounters for at least a round or two.

I use all meltaguns in my squads but that just personal preference. Consider combi-weapons on the Rhinos maybe? I like Combi-Flamers myself. Gives you a bit of cheap anti-horde that isnt usually expected. If you want to maximize your assault weapon firepower Chosen can take four weapons. A couple squads of them with plasma could be nasty. I like the LR with possession. Three of them would be much of a threat and they make great transports for smaller units of PM.

Lastly I didnt see any icons for summoning your lesser daemons but I would take larger squads. They are really terrible.

Well, as a Death Guard army, I'd say that it is very cool. However, daemons aren't very good and are not the prime choice for a competitive army like 'ard boys. If you drop 2 PMs from each squad and one from the squad of 9 that should give you enough points for some terminators, ad if you drop all the daemons should be able to get them a ride to the battle (landraider). You now have, TA-DA; a 2 landraider mech army. Very competitive.

Misery. Missouri. Who can tell the difference.

I would keep the Greater Daemon, Go with another Daemon Prince with Warp Time, Wings and Mark of Nurgle. Drop the Lesser Deamons, LR and add Oblits and more Full Squads in Rhinos. Oblits are worth their weight in gold.

251 point Khador Army
245 points Ret Army
