HELLDORADO
Admire the miniatures of this magnificent game.
Western people of Europe, Arabs and chineses undeads invades the Hell in the 16 century. Each has the reasons and the faith.
But the daemons are going to fight to hunter the invader.
The background/universe of the game is fascinating. The daemons are at home, they certainly défend theirs lands

The rules are free, you can fight with 7/8 figures. 28mm.

I also use it like "count as" for W40K.
All the factions/army : http://www.helldorado.fr/figurines/index.php

(Some pictures of the rules are "special" and can offend the sensibility of the youngest...)
But enjoy !

The only thing that stops me from getting into this game is the rather uncertain future that it now faces.

Well, that and lack of an 'official' English translation...

Wow! Some of those daemon minis are downright scary!! If that's the look they were going for, they pulled it off in spades

The other factions look really cool, too! I like the look of these minis, and I'd never heard of the company before. Thanks for the link

Edit: Found the english section of their forum, and it looks like it has some rules

A lot of those minis are gorgeous. Is there any plan for an official English rulebook? Or a German rulebook?

Sadly, no, I don't think so.

The game's continued existence is also in question.

Their original distributor (or somesuch) has cut them loose, the IP is up for sale, and to date, there are no takers...

Well, last I heard.

Bummer :( I wonder what people will use the minis for if the game doesn't continue (they're beautiful, so I would think a Lot of things!)

If anyone's having trouble finding the rulebooks/recruitments we've uploaded them on our website to make it a bit easier:

http://www.libermortis.co.uk/site/hell-dorado-downloads/

Note - the main rule book is about 50mb

It's true though those miniatures are excellent and could do with bringing out an official english rulebook rather than a pdf!

Cheers

OK, actually, a US company DID buy the IP and associated stuff.

The same company that makes the Anima Tactics game, I believe.

Yes, it is them:

SO, the game will continue.

Some things may change though, so, buyer beware at this point!

I want multiples of the panther model that they have for an Inquisitorial retinue idea I've got.

And, you know, for the actual game itself.

Of course.
