Okay, so admittedly, this is my first time posting, as well as my first time trying to do something on one of these sites. I’ve ready through a good number of the posts for tips and such, to make transactions and deals/swaps smoother, and am hoping that you all as a community will help me out as well. I was going to go through eBay to get rid of all this, but since their auctions and postings are too linear for my tastes, I decided to go with this. I’m mostly looking to trade for cash, but am willing to be flexible as well. I’ve got a HUGE amount of Khorne models I’m looking to get rid of. Here’s the list:

Haves:
Khorne Berserkers, 8 boxes, NiB 24.00 Each
Defilers, 2, NiB 46.00 Each
Khorne Lord, 3, NiB 12.00 Each
WHFB Khorne Chaos Champion, 5, NiB 12.00 Each

Will sell as a whole set for 325 plus shipping.

Greater Daemon of Khorne, 6, NiB 40.00 Each
Bloodletters, 7 boxes, NiB 18.00 Each
Bloodcrushers, 8, NiB 20.00 Each
Skulltatker, NiB 15.00
Karanak, NiB 15.00
WHFB Chaos Warhounds, 4 boxes, NiB 17.50 Each

Will sell as a whole set for 600 plus shipping

For everything, I'll go 850.00

Some of the boxes have had their shrink wrap taken off so I could check base sizes (was looking at resin bases for them.) All together, this makes a very impressive sized Apoc. Army. That was its original intent…until Nurgle distracted me I'll try to add some pictures once my internet connection isn't as finicky. Shoudln't be long.

Edit: Posted up the pricings after it being suggested. I am willing to trade for other Nurgle items on a fair trade basis as well. Things I'm wanting:

Wants:

Forgeworld Nurgle Conversion kits:
-Marine kit
-Terminator kit
Forgeworld Nurgle Blight Drones, 3
Forgeworld Great Unclean One Daemon Lord
Plague Reaper
Nurgle Lord in Terminator Armor

I guess everyone pretty much has Chaos now, so wanting to sell them/trade them is kinda moot? I'm I asking too much? Or is it that its my first ever, so you're leery because I might be a scammer or something?

Hi,

It might help to put a general price of what you're looking for next to the items (you can edit your original post) so that people know about what you're looking for!

Also, it would help people be more confident in trading with you if you have some references (whether through ebay, bartertown, or some other source).

Finally, it's 4th of July tomorrow, so a lot of people are travelling . You might need to be a little patient to get offers for these, especially if you're wanting to sell it in large lots!

I hope this helps

Hi,

Just to chime in as well, there's no reason you should sell for less than you want to. However, if you expect to get around 20% off(Warstore prices) you may not get as much interest as you might have expected. I can't speak for everyone, but if people are paying prices they can get from a known company there's no incentive for them to purchase from a stranger.

You can never beat your first time. The second generation is shinier, stronger, faster and superior in every regard save one, and it's an unfair criticism to level, but it simply can't be as original. - Andy Chambers, on the evolution of Games Workshop games

I agree, but while reading the FAQ's and tips for auctions and such, it said to be leery of people selling at 70%, because they might be scammers. So I thought I was posting with the right prices. If this is not the case, then as before (in my original post) if someone could suggest some good pricing, I'd appreciate it.

Edited: Please see original post for pricing and changes.

It's true, if you came in here saying "I absolutely have to get rid of this stuff, asking price is 70% off retail" I would be very wary. In fact, I ended up doing a trade on here with someone who I was originally wary of for that reason. I asked for pics and he took a video of everything he had and posted it up. This then gave me the confidence to believe that he really was wanting to be rid of the stuff, and was selling it for a good deal because it was a large lot.

However, that doesn't mean that people think a trade is more trustworthy just because the price is not as low, either

A good way to find prices would be to search the Swap Shop forum for similar items (such as by searching for the word "khorne") and see what people have been asking for, and if the trade was successful.

Also, it's important to note that the sticky at the top of this forum with tips is just users ideas, there's no official policy for the Swap Shop. You offer up what you have, someone makes an offer, you sell/trade... it's all up to you . But some references would definitely help people want to trade!

Great advice, and you're right about all of it. I'll try to upload the pictures that I've got today. I am however putting this thread on hold, seeing as I'm going to be going TDY within the next couple of days...and would rather not have my wife handle the shipping and trades :S
