I could use help. I am brand-spanking new to WHFB, knowing nearly nothing. I have had a lot of options presented to me by friends and the above reflects their input and my own desire for a ton of Stegs. Any and all help making this a better, stronger list would be much appreciated!

Drop the power stone and blood statuette of spite and get the Stegadon War spear (+1d6 impact hits FTW, not to mention a chief can't have or use a power stone.)

oh and drop the light armor as you can't improve on the 2+ that the Howdah gives you

10 skinks aren't really going to be a speed bump to anything worthwhile nor accomplish a whole lot. I would consider dropping the Skink Chief & steg plus 1 unit of skinks for two units of spear saurus. You can the sandwhich these units between the remaining stegs to add ranks if you end up getting charged (which is likely with many armies).

Also Salamanders and Razorbacks (nobody really wants to charge Razors for example) fill needed roles in the LM army and would still fit the "big lizard" theme.

I'm not sure how effective it will be, but I think you're on the right track for a cool list. I think it's always helpful to pick what's a "must have" for you in a list (what you like the best) and then add what's necessary to make it decent

I'm also thinking you might want some salamanders / razordons, and that they would fit your theme. I'm not sure if they would be more or less useful that the terradons. But I like the list as it is so far

One other thing, I've seen Oldbloods on Carnosaurs equipped to have Lots of attacks (I believe there's a shield that gives a bonus attack as well) but they're pricey! Yours looks good, if you can find the extra points you could give him one of the ward save items.

Yea, WHFB is still greek to me, so I am learning what can do what for who and how, etc. I will post up a better list later on with as much Steg love as I can muster. What a sweet model that is actually pretty good!

hmmmm...i think he might like skinks
