i have been playing empire for a while now. I was looking at outrides and i was wondering im fast cav but my guys have move or fire weapons so can i still shoot them if they move or no?

No, they cannot move and fire. So you move them into a good firing position on turn one, and light up your opponent's flanks or rear from close range on turn two. If you are charged, you can either flee, or do a really punishing stand-and-shoot. Outriders definitely have their uses, especially for the Empire general who has a more quirky tactical bent.

I still always take Pistoliers instead, though.
