This confuzzles me slightly, so could somebody please set me on the straight and narrow?

The optional wargear states that they can exchange their Bolt pistols for X wargear. But in their listed wargear, all they have are Frag grenades and the bike(with TL Bolters). Does this mean that the initiate pilot comes with the bolt pistol/CCW combo that is available to Crusader Squad initiates?

Or am I just plain stupid.

Thanks
Jimmy

Look up the initiates themselves.

It seems the BT codex screwed up. RAW The Bikers have No Bolt Pistols to exchange. However, I assume it is intended for them to have the same Wargear as Initiates as found on page 37

So does this mean, theoretically, that they would have +1 attack from BP and CCW?

Thus the Power Sword option making Biker Squads reasonably dangerous in close combat?

Hrh...

Only theoretically.

I say that because they have no BP to exchange. Nothing in the Errata changes that.

Conversely, taking it literally means spending points to exchange wargear you do not have, wasting points on items you are unable to take.

Meh. I think I'll stick with the Speeders and Assault Squads.
