I'm looking for a tutorial on how to do the small war posters that I see on so many pieces of terrain. When I finish my army for the Big Waaagh I'm going to be working on my home table and I really like they detail they add to buildings.

Um, you just find/make a poster you like then print it really small using your printer's best quality? All decent graphics programs let you print at a size percentage, e.g. 10%

So I thought this was a good idea to come read... then I noticed it was you... now I've lost all interest!
Paint your DP D bag!

(p.s. I think you take a small piece of plasticard and apply a decal or free hand paint it. Kinda funny I plan on doing this to some of my buildings as well)

Ya, you just find, or make some small simple posters, for Imperial stuff throwing HERETIC or other such buzz words in the title is fluffy. A single sheet of regular paper can yeild hundreds of lil posters about the size of a postage stamp.
Copy/cut, paste, repeat with about 12 different designs, and print away. For more variety hit some of the posters with different colored washes or inks to give them a different look or sense of age.

Get them printed on a colour laser if you can, if you do it on your home inkjet you can run into problems with the ink running when used with water-based glue or paint/ink

You can also print it on paper that lookes aged. Check out your craft book section at your local hobby shop. I also know of guys that printed em, wrinkled em up into tiny balls then flattend em out again to make them look used. One guy took a blow torch to some on a little thicker paper to braze them and apply light char marks. Get creative!!! GW used to have a hobby spot that had some of the imperial posters on there that you may still be able to find on some forums.

Agreed, I made up two for Warmachine a while back, but a similar concept could work well for the IG. All you need is a good image, some blocky text and an OK slogan.
Think I'll make some Valhallan ones up after I get my Photoshop back.

you can also make stuff used to age papar-used coffee grounds, place the paper in a bag with (dried) used coffee grounds-it turns the paper a yellowish tinge-then used a match and burn off the edges-makes it look like it was in a fire.
practice first-you dont want to ruin what you worked hard on doing.
