I thought I would redo my Boss I painted from the Black Reach set. It was the first thing I ever painted and I thought I might could do a little better now.

So what do ya think? I still need to do a few things to him like a little camo on the pants and few details but he is about 90% done.

Much better job, its great to see how you're skills have improved and how the model was able to take a repaint well!! It's great to see how you've learnt about colour and drybrushing/highlights.

long may the waaagh continue!!

Awesome job! Did you strip it first (with simple green?), and if so did it get the primer off, too? I know you said you'd been stripping some plastic Tau, and I'm still trying to see the best way to go about doing plastic

He looks like a whole new Boss! He's ready to order those big battlewagons onto the field now

Simple green it was. I actually had to clean him 2 or 3 times to get all of it off and yes it got the primer too.

and FYI, to long in the Simple Green and it will break down the glue holding it together. I left one of my brothers Tau DF in the Simple Green for a few days and when I started to clean it it basically fell apart in my hands. Not damage to the model though. It just needs to be put back together.

Many times better now. You've improved your shading and detail work massively!

How long has it been since you started painting?

I like the new paint job alot better. I have always found that muted colors used well is much better than a bright color that jumps out since it draws to much attention to that one spot and not the entire model. Great work on the WB and keep up the good work.
