I think you have really got the hang of the whole modelling and conversion thing (something I have yet to even start on).

However, I think your painting skills need improvement. The eyes of the mek are a bit messy and the skin colour really needs a highlight. Teeth on the squig also need some work (just put a fine line of a brown between the teeth to separate them)

Looking for games in Shanghai? Send a PM

i know the squig teeth need to be seperated
but it is orkhide shade, dark angels green, badab black wash, snot green highlight
i do not wish to have the bright skin you are used to

Well if you want to go by fluff, Ork eyes are just red. So fluff wise your both wrong. I like the way his eyes are done, but just need the yellow run over to be cleaned up is all.

I love the gretchin carrying the burna fuel, nice work.

And i also think the yellow eyes are cool, just need a little touch up.

Of all the mistakes you have made, the best are yet to come.

i did touch up the eyes, not sure if it looks better but its different than it was they are much smaller with almost no yellow

the teeth have benifited greatly from a devlin mud wash

It's a relatively clean, nice job. Definitely tabletop quality. I like the darker skin tones you've used, personally. There's nothing wrong with the eye color, but as others have said, it would be good to clean it up a little. The yellow has bled out a bit onto his eyelid area. If you clean that up, that will help a lot. Also, an easy way to get some more definition on the teeth of the squig, is to hit it with a brown wash of some sort. It will give you some nice shading, and dirty them up a bit. I'm pretty sure squigs don't brush their teeth very often!

Needs more shading and the base needs a good amount of work.

Good conversion but painting could be better.

Nice job well done I really like the Burna Fuel Grot.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Like everyone else, I love the conversion! but some better painting would REALLY help. In a month or two when ur more comfortable with a brush you can come back and touch it up but until then it will still make a great tabletop piece.

Oh, I like it. The Big Mek is an awesome model, worthy of the sort of embellishment that you've done. He can well be the centerpiece of your whole army.

You've got my attention. Looking forward to an encore!
