Can we get rid of the General 40k discussion forum? It's done little to change the general discussion forum, there are still plenty of 40k topics there, the general 40k forum meanwhile is some general stuff, some tactica, some fluff...

All it's done is spread disorder!

Or if it must remain, why not consolidate the fluff forum into it?

Agreed. It's mostly tactics and fluff in there, and there aren't nearly enough 'general 40k' topics.

Agreed also. I think we are kinda giving "General" a broad definition.
But really do we need it.
What cant be put in there that cant be put in other forums

I'm not sure what getting rid of it would help to accomplish.

There definitely are less 40k general threads in the Dakka Discussions forum now, so it certainly is accomplishing that goal. However if the topics in the general 40k forum shouldn't be there all we need are for people to click the 'notify moderator' on any thread that should be moved to a different forum and we'll do it.

I've noticed a fair few 40k topics in dakka discussions and have been moving them when I see them and have a moment. Yak, shall we amend the forum description to point out 40k topics should be put in 40k general discussion just to help clarify?
