Hi Folks

I know I've seen somewhere how to make a home made hot wire cutter, I want to use it on some foamcore for a gaming table project. I have the GW battery operated one, but it is not up for this challenge and I was hoping to make one that operates off the mains power supply. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

If you are doing lots of terrain I would recommend one of the models that looks like a real knife and plugs into the wall. I have one of these and it works great but there is no name or model number.

I do what the voices in my wifes head say...

I'm working on a lava themed game board, and need to be able to make the cracks in the surface. The idea of a single blade does sound good... could you take a pic of it please? I may be able to locate one like it...

Cheers
