if those rules are true then I think the cheese cries will be unprecedented... (even more then usual for Warmachine)

They sound like not too expensive combatmachines. You would think with the small hands they hit like a little girl in comparioson with other jacks, but they are still very strong. The forcefield gives them a lot of resistance. Hell they have a nice heavy with an ArcNode... This army is chockfull of cheese...

on the other hand jacks won't carry the day, and not a lot is known on the units for speed etc... I will keep an open mind for now, but I expect to be disapointed about balancefactors. Will see how all the over the top rules will be balanced in MK2 Though... (all armies get balanced then, so why not the ret...)

What's very strong there? Highest P+S I saw was 17 on the Phoenix.

Well... They want PlasCraptic Jacks to sell... As well as all the hideous, donkey eared infantry. We are talking about a company that wishes they were as cool as GW after all.

I'll take ears over the conehead elves any day of the week. Who actually thought that was a good idea... Sheesh...

It seems like the Retribution jacks are fast and relatively sturdy with regenerative shielding, but they do not seem to hit as hard as some of the other faction heavies. I think they may have a hard time standing toe-to-toe against jacks and beasts with 19+ "P+S" and "ARM".

However, having SPD6 on all of their heavies is pretty awesome. They can effective avoid engaging Khador jacks with "Hit & Run" tactics. With the ability to save upspent focus means that you can "gas" up the jack on the first turn, and it can effectively leave the warcaster's control range indefinitely. Just save the last focus to "run" back into control range when they need a refuel. I do see some nice potential here, especially in objective scenarios.

Bleah. I just looked over the gallery, and I don't like the Retribution's warjacks AT ALL. Sad that they went the anime mecha route (worse, they went for the extra-goofy -IMO- style) and I think they look terrible.

I didn't think the Tau were a bad mismatch for 40K, but the Retribution are way out of place in Warmachine!

Actually, they look a ton better in person. The photos don't do them justice. I saw the actual painted minis at comic con and they look nice.

That said, they need to show some alternate paint schemes for Retribution to better show off the units.
