I've got a spare Chimera chassis and I'm looking for missile ideas for a Medusa conversion. I've thought about straight Hellstrike missiles, but I don't know the scale to know if they would be appropriate. Any able to give me a relative length? Barring that, I've also though of using the Whirlwind launcher. Anyone else have any ideas?

You mean Manticore, NOT Medusa, correct? Manticore fires the four rockets, while the Medusa is a big mortar. I would think hellstrike missiles would work just fine for size. You could probably arrange four of them horizontally on some scratchbuilt racks or maybe use the hunter-killer rails from the IG tank accessories sprue.

Reply....doh. Yes, Manticore, not the 'duece. I was contemplating something either like the FW model or more like the old epic model "Katyusha" style.

The whirlwind launcher could work. I plan to make one using the extra missles from my 2 valkyries since I built them with rocket pods. Just gonna have to figure out a way to scratch build it good.

I thought about making a Manticore out of all the extra Hunter-Killer Missiles I have left over in my bitz box.
Guard players usually have about a million left over from their tanks, and they should fit the bill, and if they're too
