I came up to this problem in a game recently and have searched high and low throughout the rule book and google for an answer but nothing says whether being fearless stops having to take the test for tank shock. Do they automatically go for Death or Glory?

Necrons are not fearless. Scarabs are, so are Pariahs, Tomb Spyders and C'Tan I think, but IIRC no Model with the Necron Special Rule is Fearless

However, fearless units do autopass the Tank Shock test, and then may choose to either Death or Glory! or just move out of the way.

Thanks for the prompt reply. So Necron Warriors have to take the Leadership test if they are tank shocked? Or does the Special Rule allow them to just move out of the way?

The Tank SHock rules let them move out of the way. If a unit is tank Shocked and passes the test, one model in the path may choose to DoG, if they don't they just move out of the way.

And yeah, they take the test as normal.

The Necron Special Rule that allows them to pass all Leadership tests in the cases of falling back or being pinned.

Necrons have no such special rule... You mean Fearless? No Necrons have Fearless. Some units in the codex do (I listed them), but none are Necrons.

I remember reading something in my friends codex that said something about them passing morale tests, I must have read it incorrectly.

With Leadership 10 all around, they won't fail their morale checks against tank shock very often.

They're more vulnerable to sweeping advance after taking a heavily modified morale check in close combat.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

Sounds like someone reprinted their codex using Adobe PDF.
