Outstanding... the folks over at the Warhammer Forum will be glad for a lot of these. I particularly was interested in the ruling on the poisoned giant bow... I've certainly read a lot of back and forth there.

Thanks for the heads up!

P.S. Manfred, your sig has a typo on Albrecht's Abjuration (shwon vs. shown).

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”

I don't know what you're talking about, Zeke. *waves hand* These are not the droids you're looking for...

On topic: That's pretty much how I figured the giant bow would be ruled. Same with Burning Alignment (magical, non-flaming). A couple things that stick out at me: Salamanders can march and breathe fire, Terradons can charge and drop rocks (!).

They can if no one's looking

2012- stopped caring
Nova Open 2011- Orks 8th Seed---(I see a trend)
Adepticon 2011- Mike H. Orks 8th Seed (This was the WTF list of the Final 16)

You know, I completely misread that.

Wow so the burning alignment non-spell spell is now flaming as well.

I said it before on Seer, I'll say it again, the Engine of the Gods is lightning based, not fire, it is, as Nos says, magical only.

Why were some of these questions even asked? Did someone really think that the Staff of the lost Sun didn't make magical attacks? Was someone out there really trying to say that you could run a unit of 9 skinks with a Kroxigor and it was alright just to save 5 points? was it really a question whether or not Burning alignment was a magical attack? WOW.

I agree Arion. I think some of these were "chosen" for FAQ'ing just because they were ludicirously easy to answer and didn't require GW to "think" before putting them on paper.

The really ugly ones...all the miscast ones...seem to have been answered by drunken monkeys and end up with more questions than they answer.

I will say I was a bit surprised about the Bane Head/Phiranna Blade. I think that is a complete deviation from GW getting 1 wound to equal 4 now.

Burning Alignment WAS a question: recent tournament FAQ'd it as not magical, as it never said it was. Of course that is a little silly given nothing in the *Magic* section actually states its' magical....

Considering that the Wood Elf ranged magical weapons are not magical attacks, it might be questioned.
