I plan to add 1 5-man assault Squad, 1 5-man Dev squad, 1 5-man Assault Terminator squad, and 1 5-man Vanguard Veteran Squad and 1 iron-clad Dreadnought.
I used the Sergeant from the Vanguard Veteran squad to make my Chapter Master. I don't have my codex with me so I don't know what my Terminator Chaplain is worth. If you have suggestions feel free to post

Dont give ur devastators sarge a pwr fist and plasma pistol,he wont b usein it they wil just shootin stuff,waste of pnts.


give ur tac squads sarge's pwr wep/fists,much better than plasma pistols,trust me!!!!

also give ur Chapter Master a storm sheild for a solid 3+ invun! awesome!

Just so any future posters know the army list is of my current army it has already been put together. I can't change any of the models unless I get another combat squad.

You can't have 3 HQ choices in normal games. Devastator squads are also bad, and mixed-weapon Devastators even worse. Further, you should always take special or heavy weapons with your Tactical squads, as they are free!

take the freeby weapons on the tacs or spend pts on meltas. nix the plasma pistols altogether IMO.

The Vanguard vets are not providing you anything since you are not taking advantage of their wargear. if you like asssault marines then just take another regular squad of them, vanguard isn't benefitting you here.

Devastators are not great but they CAN work. 4 ML; or 3 MLs and a Las; or 4 PLasma; or 4 Las are my suggested possibilities for them. MM don't have the range to help anything if the Devs are standing back providing fire support.

If you mount the devs in a rhino and try to get them close you can give them all MM but this is risky and helluvalotta pts.

Fists on your Tac Sargs is a good time too.

I also did not see any transport anywhere... how come?

To echo:

Get rid of the PP. Now. You tac squads should be in Transports. Period. They should also have their free heavy weapon! If you want meltaguns then take either a MM or ML as the heavy weapon.

Vanguard suck.

The assault squad is to small to do much.

With the HQ's I assume whether you were questioning whether you should have a jump pack chappy or termy chappy? Otherwise 2 HQ's.

Devs suck. Why in gods name would the sergeant need any special weapons? That setup is also horrible. (look at Deuce's post for the right way to run devs)

Termies need a LR.

Dread is good but needs heavy flamer. To echo Deuce he will die fast.

It's a messy list and won't work. You need more of a focus. If you are going to run pesudo-crimson fists run pedro cantor ffs. Take sternguard! This list looks like a mix between a Ranvenguard and Imperial Fists if anything!

The focus of my army is both Heavy weapons and fast attack.
My Chapter Master is armed with a halberd type weapon. Also which chappy is better? How does giving flamers to my assault squad sound? I wasn't planning on having transports but what transports should I have?

Ok...

Well Rhinos should be given to the tactical squads. So you want like a pseudo-gunline with a fast assault element?

Essentially... yes. I built this army with the idea of a sort of double whammy. one punch is ranged the other is shoving a chainsword up the enemies .
