Just got moved to the Littlerock AFB in Jacksonville.....yeah you got me on that one. Any way, so i'm hoping to find a group or at least a person to play WH40k I'm game for anything from small to 15k pts. Also would be interested in any RPG groups, D&D, shadowrun, White Wolf what ever.

I worked at Jacksonville AFB in 1997. There used to be a hobby store nearby that sold a little 40K (sold mostly trains and military models) that might still be there. Might be a start.

Edit: it was in Jacksonville and IIRC was on the frontage road next to the highway on the same side as the base. Little Rock had a comics shop that had 40K games played on the weekends, but I never attended.

I'm from SW Missouri, but I know of a few groups in your area at least.
*Central Arkansas Warhammer Society-Excellant Fantasy players and a solid group. Based out of Little Rock I think
I don't have a website for them, but I think they are doing some work with the Big WAAAGH! tourney.
*Warhammer World-Based out of Springdale in NW Arkansas. Not a club per se, but a great place to meet a variety of players and Dennis runs several fantastic tournaments a year.

I believe dashrender lives in Little Rock so you may want to send him a pm if you want to play.

Hope that I have helpful.

Welcome to arkansas! (Hope you like trees!)

Home of the Moonshine boyz (40k) and Central Arkansas Warhammer Society! (fantasy)

This is our groups website.
http://moonshineboyz.formyjob.net/forum.htm

We host 40k Tournements about once a month and game every Thursday night and Saturday. Our current Lo-cal isn't the best in the world, but the owner of the shop is moving, but if your a cool cat a lot of us veteran players all have boards at home and terrain. So stop on by introduce yourself and bring your army. We generally play 1850 but we'll play almost any points cost. Would you call yourself a Tournament player, fluff player, or Hobbiest? (as we have all three) I will be there this thursday. We also have a square based club in the area as mentioned before. CAWS a great group of painters and even better group of players. I am a member of both clubs as I play both. Drop me a line I'm always looking for players I havn't played a gazillion times.

Well right now i'm in transition so not sure when i'll be able to actualy stop by any where, was just doing some research so when all my stuff gets in, and more importantly I get a car, I'll be able to get going. I consider my self a casual player, only ever played in one tournament wasn't bad just haven't really had the chance to go to any others. I love building the models but hate painting them, it's in the works but it's a slow and painful process.

According to GW's main page there is a store that deals in warhammer stuff in Jacksonville but haven't had a chance to swing by, yet again due to lack of car BLAST!.
