More revisions! This post has been edited with the most recent list.
HQ
Company Command Squad
-Astropath
-Officer of the Fleet
-Regimental Standard
-Chimera with Multilaser and Heavy Bolter
I dropped their special weapons. It kindof feels like a waste, though, so I may add 3 Grenade Launchers and thake them from the Infantry Squads since they'll be near each other and have better BS, assuming I am not using Bring It Down.
Elites
Inquisitor (DH)
-Mystic
-Mystic
-Hierophant
-Psychic Hood
Kindof a double-whammy. I get the (frankly broken in tandem with the new Russes) Mystic ability, plus a Psychic Hood at Ld9. I thought about an Inquisitor lord, but with every mission using KP, and the second mission treating HQ as 5 KP, I elected for the cheaper option.
Troops
Veterans
-3 Meltaguns
-Demolitions
Veterans
-3 Meltaguns
-Demolitions
Veterans
-3 Meltaguns
-Chimera with Multilaser and Heavy Flamer
First two squads go in the Vendettas, third obviously has its own ride. All three go tank hunting and grab late objectives.
Veterans
-3 Plasma Guns
Ride in the Valkyrie and help with anti-heavy infantry/transport duty.
Veterans
-3 Plasma Guns
-Chimera with Heavy Bolter and Multilaser
Thanks to input, I realized that the Chimera is a better bargain for the firepower than Harker. Also, since this squad would be taking a more mobile role, I dropped their AC.
Infantry Platoon
-Platoon Command Squad
-4 Flamers
-Chimera with Heavy Flamer turret and heavy bolter
Horde en flambe, anyone?
5x Infantry Squad
-Autocannon
-Grenade Launcher
-One squad has a Commissar
Fast Attack
Vendetta
Vendetta
Valkyrie
-Multiple Rocket Pods
Rides for vets. The Vendettas go for hard targets, while the Valk gives me some nice anti-infantry firepower.
Heavy Support
Leman Russ Squadron with two LRBTs with Plasma sponsons
Leman Russ Demolisher
-Heavy Bolter Hull and Sponsons
Manticore
Dropped the Executioners to standard Russes to avoid the overkill issues that I was getting by squadding them. This may overkill as well, but it's 80 points cheaper, so the overkill doesn't hurt as much (paid for the Demolitions ont he vets and the Reg Standard.
Thanks again for the feedback thus far.
Keep the feedback coming! It's been very thought-provoking.

20 points = pintle-mounted heavy stubbers for any two Chimeras of your choice. I'd probably pull the sponsons on the Demolisher and use those points elsewhere as well.

Youve got the veteran/valkyrie loadup all wrong. Meltavets should always always go with valkyries. These guys can move 12" & fire everything, allowing good movement, & if there arent any troops to shoot at it can instead flat-out move 24" to unload those vets to take out a vehicle thus not diminishing its effectiveness.
Now imagine doing the same thing with a triple TL-lascannon equipped vendetta? Such a waste.
Harker's squad should have a heavy-weapon team. Either a heavy bolter (to compliement harker & provide a more anti-troop role) or an autocannon (to compliement the 24" str7 plasma guns & provide more of an anti-transport role). Make sense?
A platoon command squad with 4 flamers is quite possibly the best thing to go inside a vendetta. A 30-strong ork squad eating 4 flamer templates. It is all good. With the amount of chimera your not fielding, having a few may be fool hardy but again they may provide good cover screens for all those leman russ battle tanks.

Fair enough on the Vendettas. I may swap that up a bit.
Harker's squad does have an Autocannon, and I agree that it's going to be a nice addition to the unit.
The PCS in a Vendetta could be icky, but I worry about the squad after disembarking, hence the Chimera. Plus, the Chimera lets me throw another flamer template on.
Thanks for the input.

I disagree about the Vendettas Riders not having meltas. Vendettas are there to kill transports and MCs. Melta Vets are there to kill AV13, 14. The compliment each other perfectly.
Personally I run 2x Melta, 1x HF , Demo with my Air Mobile Vets. They allow your vets to be solid againts any threat and the meltabombs allow them to multicharge landraiders, russ squadrons and more.
They work best as outflankers but that requires stacked Astropaths to be reliable.
I also Agree that you need to give Harkers squad a Heavy Weapon. AC or LC ( bs4 makes an LC worthwhile and adds to the terminator killing capacity of the squad )

20 points = some bolt pistol sarges?
Its not much, but I cant see anything else to change, like.
(also, 2 points left over, bleh.)
Also, i'd agree on pulling those HB sponsons, and shoving on some stubbers... Dont underestimate those few extra shots while moving 6.

I collect:
Guard - 2k of mostly infantry
DA - 2k of deathwing, 2k of other bits (no vehicles)
Sisters - mostly converted/proxy because I'm waiting for therange to go plastic.
Tau - 2k with no riptides because I can. |

I may end up dropping the HB sponsons on the Demolisher to give one of the vet squads Demolitions.
After doing a bit of research today, I think I can expect to see some other Guard players there, as well as a fair bit of Eldar. Any tweaks that you all would make with that in mind? There are also a fair few Tyranids players in the local scene, but I am unsure how many of them will be coming.

Fair bit of Eldar?
Combining the two executioners and fitting in a Hydra?
Slapping a psycannon on that Inq for the inevitable Seer Council?
Going turret HF/hull HF on the PCS Chimera, dropping two flamers and adding an autocannon to that squad?
Doubling the executioners will also allow both to fire via the mystics, since it affects the unit.
I would also think one commisar for if you want or need to mob that infantry unit.

EDIT: Is there some way you can get a transport for your Inquisitor?

I had considered squadding up the Executioners, but unfortunately I don't think I could come up with a Hydra in time for the tourney. At best I could convert up a Manticore, but that's a lot more points, and doesn't have the nifty skimmer-killing kung fu of the Hydra.
Also, the Platoon should have a Commissar. I just forgot to enter it. Thanks for pointing that out .
The Psycannon is honestly something I hadn't considered, but now that I think of it, there is at least one demon player nearby who may show up, too. Hmm...

New updates to the list! The readers digest version is that I dropped the Executioners to LRBTs with Plasma and squadded them, dropped Harker, dropped the sponsons on the Demolisher, and dropped the plasmas/medipak from the CCS.
I added a Manticore, a chimera for what used to be harker's squad

What are you refering to when you say this? I thought mystics only worked on the unit they are in?

If you have 2 mystics they nominate a unit within 12 inches of them to take the shots at the deepstrikers.

ahh - I thought you were referring to the re-roll misses ability. I think it's the mystics that do that
