Like the question asks, could Snikrot and Ghaz share the same squad, thereby both are able to use the ambush skill?

Yup. Ghaz can join them in reserves just fine.

And Snikrot isn't an HQ

Kinda new to 40k as if you couldnt tell lol... Why wouldnt most Ork armies do this, it just seems too ridiculous of a combo not to?

Well, Ghaz is Slow and Purposeful, so that limits the movement of the unit, and also means the whole unit strikes at I1 if they charge with him.

Also Nob Bikers are far more broken :3

unless they have frags (i think stikk bombs for orks). Nob bikers are indeed a bargain for what they give you ... Do feel that megnobs have been short changed and should ether also get the exhaust cloud rule or +1 to their toughness (T5 to include ID for double toughness). But I'm rambling and have gone way off topic

I figure that it's worthwhile to point out that they can actually join each other to form their own 2 man squad without actually joining another squad as well, assuming they both have the IC special rule (don't have ork dex with me).

Snikrot isn't an IC, he is a Upgrade Character.

Then my previous statement is indeed invalid. Thanks for correcting me there.

Your statement is somewhat correct though. 2 Single Models with the IC rule can Indeed join up to form a 2 Man Unit.

Ok Gwar, I'm fairly new to WH40k as well, and after looking at the Ork Codex, where does it state that Ghaz is Slow and Purposeful? I'm looking on Page 58 and on Page 96 and I do not see slow and purposeful listed for him. Also, as Ikeep getting my butt kicked by the bikers, how are they broken?

Ya'll wanna look at Page 39, where it has the rules for the Mega Armour Ghazzy Wears.
Also, as I keep getting my butt kicked by the bikers, how are they broken?
Fast Movement, Wound allocation abuse, T5, 4+ Perma Cover save, Feel No Pain, S9 Power Klaws etc. They are expensive, but very hard to kill. That was until people learnt to bring Vindicators or Leman Russes

Now now be nice The Mega Armour Rules are not found in the Wargear Section like they should be (as more than 1 unit uses them) but instead tell you to refer back to Meganobz. Well, at least GW is consistent </sarcasm>

Thanks for the info Gwar, and when you said broken, I thought you meant they were broken in a "bad-for-the-bikers" sorta way and not overpowered. I wanna try the sisters of battle agains them with the WH with the blessed ammunition that negates cover saves. While I know that I will still prob get my butt kicked, it will be fun to try... hehe...

Where wasn't I nice?

It took me about 3 seconds to find the rules for Mega Armour in the codex, so I assumed that what I posted was sufficient.

Sisters are actually pretty good, IF you can get close enough. Heavy Flamers = Lots of Killy as it ignores the cover AND Armour, but not FNP sadly :(

To give a full answer, the wound allocation advantage to nob bikers comes from the ability to give them all different wargear. When you allocate wounds to identical multi-wound models, you must stack the wounds model by model so as to kill each one as soon as possible.

So, if you had two identical nob bikers with two wounds each, and you get shot and fail two saves, you would have to put both unsaved wounds on one model, killing one of your bikers.

But if you had two bikers with different wargear with two wounds each, and you get shot and fail two saves, you would put one wound on each per the wound allocation rules.

The ability to give them all different wargear keeps them alive longer under the current wound allocation rules.
