Okies.

I had an acquaintance over for a game of 40k and he brought mechanized IG; we had some rules questions that we didn't know, so we posted them here as we went.

The real question is can Gwar answer rules questions while embarked in a vehicle?

Always 1 on the crazed roll.

Sadly no, as the Superawesomegwarshipmotron 5000 has no fire Points, and Answering rules Questions requires Line of Sight

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

I'm kind of depending on this being the case for the structure of my current IG project...

I'm shocked Gwar, your answer should be "I can if both players agree to it. So if both you and your opponents feel that your Superawesomegwarshipmotron is broken without a warship, just both agree and you can modify the rules!

What one, that you can fire the PBS out of the Chimera (You can) or that the Superawesomegwarshipmotron 5000 has no fire points?

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

Gwar probably keeps a printout of his sig folded in his wallet so that anyone who doesn't agree to his use of homebake vehicles has to read the tiny print. Chances are the person's name is already on there in some shape or form.

Of course I mean PBS.

Well in that case, don't worry, you can.

Hell, even GW's crapfest FAQ's Deal with it:
Q. Can a model use a psychic power that is not a Psychic Shooting Attack if it is embarked in a transport vehicle?
A. Yes. If the power requires line of sight, this is still worked out from the vehicle’s fire points (this will count as one model shooting through that fire point if the power is used in the Shooting phase).
If the psychic power does not require line of sight and has a range or an area of effect that is normally measured from the model using it, these are measured from the vehicle’s hull, as explained in the Embarking section on page 66.

Edit: Having re-read that... I WANNA PLAY NURGLE! Nurgles rot from a Rhino..... Yeowch! If only Land Raiders had Fire Points :(
Edit 2: Hmm, seems Nurgles rot doesn't need LoS, but is done instead of firing a Weapon. I suppose that means it does need a Fire point. got excited over nothing
