Just as the title says, I tend to roll 1's a lot with my plasma cannons and was wondering if they still shoot after this happens?

Hmm I read over the rule and it just says you take a save and get badly burned, with plasma weapons like plasma pistols and guns a roll of 1 is a miss so it doesn't fire, does this happen with cannons too?
