My Tau codex said nothing about these XV15 and I cannot find anything about them on the internet. Also apparently there is a few other stuff like Human Auxiliary and etc that I never knew about.

So what is the difference between the XV25 and the XV15. I KNOW it cannot be just one is a leader or the XV15 is just an older looking model. They look almost nothing alike so I know they cannot be the same as each other. So whats the difference?

It really is just an older model. The new suits are plastic. The old ones are metal. Some like the old. Some like the new. In game terms they are the same except for the size which affects LOS.

The only difference in game terms is that the 25 can be equipped with a fusion gun and there is no fusion gun model for the 15. The 15 is smaller and easier to hide.

In all other respects they are identical.

If you made a fusion gun to equip onto the XV15 suit, it would probably be accepted by nearly all players as a valid model.

The Human Auxiliaries (Gue'La) were in the 3e codex. They are descendants of the IG forces abandoned in Tau space at the end of the aborted Damocles Crusade.

They had the same statline as IG and could have some upgrades such as equipping the leader with a pulse carbine, and carrying EMP grenades.

They are no longer tournament legal but would most likely be accepted in friendly games. They don't offer any kind of superpowers to a Tau army and they make a nice conversion unit. I don't know why GW dropped them from the 4e codex.

Human Auxillaries were not in the Tau book, they were in an online article on the old GW site.

They weren't in the dex, they were a white dwarf unit back in the day.

Oh I see! DANG! I was hoping they came out with newer unites for meh army :(
Love to see that happen! Anyway so how come the army builder program I have that uses the 5th edition rules lets me
take them as a troop choice? Are they legal to use...the human auxiliaries I mean!

Edit* Well at least I have another really cool looking team of stealth dudes....much cooler then my others anyway.

I thought they were in the dex but it is about 3 years since I looked at it.
