I am working on an all tzeentch list and am still trying to figure out the HQ choices so that brings me to this post. I can't decide which to play, both have merits and drawbacks. The list is basically the same, it is just the HQ I am stuck on. I have used Fateweaver for the last couple of games and I am gonna sit him out for a game or two while I work on using the other models more. Okay enough with the preamble.

The core list (at this point) is -

3x7 Horrors with bolt (1 changeling)
3x3 Flamers with bolt
3 Tzeentch daemon princes with bolt and gaze

and I am debating either A or B

A- 3 heralds on chariot with bolt, legion, soul devourer, master of sorcery and the blue scribes

or

B- 2 heralds on chariot with bolt and Lord of Change with legion, master, breath

Please bear in mind this is going to be for a tourney but I am absolutely set on taking a monogod list with no more than a single soulgrinder (and that is only if I do nurgle).

So, which should I try out in the next few playtesting games and which do you think would result in higher soft scores?

edit: oh yeah, fwiw I will probably play either orks, sm, eldar or ig next, but as this is a tourney list I want it to be all comers.

LoC freaks people out, some armys have such a hard time killing him he dictates their target priority and movment.

And he fits the theme perfect.

B it is - though I have found out we are doing a 2k planetstrike with me as attacker so I will be using a different army, but next time I get in a tourney prep game it will be that. thanks for posting.
