hey im looking for some people to play 40k with in calgary alberta canada

Well, there are three Dakkaites that I know of in Calgary. Myself, (don't really play 40k), Fafnir, and Orkestra, who I've never actually contacted.

Where are you in Calgary? What FLGS do you use?

there down past the greyhound station i used to ride my bike there from o'claire market when i lived in Calgary last. if a fellow named Robert still works there your in luck. he was once an outrider and probably once of the best GW games player i have ever met

Sometimes there are GW events on Saturday afternoons at the Sentry Box. Usually once or twice a month, run by Rough riders, or Grey knights or whatever GW helpers are called now.

Also, there is Myth Games, or Mythic Games, in the NE. I have never been there, but a lot of the club gaming has moved there. The club has a website www.ultimate-gamers.net . They have a forum similar to this one, but a lot smaller.
