How amazing does this game look? For the uninitiated, it's a game featuring Jack Black as a member of a metal band (who looks exactly like Eddy from Rocky Horror) who gets sent to a crazy world that the designers based on the covers of Metal albums. There, he uses a guitar and an axe to hack, behead, light on fire, electrocute, and generally dismember evil things. In this world, the Gods of Metal created puzzles for people to solve in the forms of guitar tablature to solos. In discovering and playing these, Eddy builds an awesome hot rod and can later upgrade it and such.

Overall, this game looks incredible, if only for Jack Black being Jack Black. Google it to find gameplay videos. It will be epic.

I'm actually ridiculously excited about this game. The only thing that I fear it will be missing is a true Cheese Metal soundtrack.

It just wouldn't be complete without Dream Evil (such classics as 'the book of heavy metal' 'FIRE! BATTLE! IN METAL!' and 'Made of Metal') or Manowar (though Manowar is actually serious.) I mean, the opening of the book of Heavy Metal seems like everything that game needs.

Also, this might sound strange, but I saw a bit of the video without sound, and I knew it was Jack Black just from the character's animations. So good job on that.

Watch the 15 minute gameplay video. Plenty of metal in the background while he's chopping heads off. Actually didn't sound half bad.

they should have had jack black narrate in the official trailer. Otherwise, awesome. I'm totally getting it...

looks kinda cool. Ill probably buy it when the price goes down under 30.00.
But maybe the shouldnt have cast jack black he hasnt been funnt since.... well he never was
