One of the Tau markerlight abilities is to subtract 1 from a units cover save. Can this ability be used to reduce the coversave of a vehicle that is obscured (4+ save)? Also, can the markerlight ability stack so that a cover save of a unit/vehicle will be reduced by more than one (ie a unit with a 4+ coversave gets two markerlights used against them and ends up having a 6+ save or no save at all i the coversave was 5+)? I see no reason for it not to work as normal against vehicles. Nothing in the relevant rules specifies Infantry, or non-vehicle units.

Yes. Specifically covered in the Markerlight rules.
