Hi all

Someday I want to visit tournaments in EU and Warhammer World
Just recently I've sold my old GW army case. Now I'm looking for the new one.
Can someone give me some advice - I have Tyranid army and O&G in FB and for example I'd like to take one of them with me, but I'll travel by plane. How to board airplane and take my army with me - not giving it to baggage ? Can someone advice on some kind of army transport/handbag/case (preferably made specially for miniatures) ?

I've heard horrible stories from people who've not had their armies as carry-on luggage. The best plan would be to get the allowed dimensions from the airline, and find a case that conforms to those. I know Battlefoam advertised their bags as passing regulations on that regard.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

If you're worried, look at Pelican cases and expect to have to buy and cut your own foam (or just additional foam to pack in trays from BattleFoam or Sabol or wherever.

Pelican sells a lot of gear to people who are really dependent on stuff shipping properly... The cases are hard, thick plastic with inner protective layers and are near indestructible. They even have valves so they can stay sealed when under pressure.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.
Play the games that make you happy.

Like Balance said, Pelican cases are the way to go. Then just pack your minis in there snug in their standard foam trays and you are off to the races.

This is the way that I personally have gone, taking my old sabol bag and ditching it but keeping my foam and packing it into a nice rolling Pelican case with rolling wheels. (for my Black Templar, around 8k points).
