Hey everyone.

I have my 1000 point Deathwing company ready to be bought.

What I need desperate help with is how the hell am i going to make Belial. I was considering Captain Lysander and changing some hands around, possibly getting some random bits from a site.

I just don't know how. I've seen a few pieces on here and they are magnificant. Only problem is I SUCK WITH GREEN STUFF, mainly cause ive never used it.

Easy

Get a plastic Terminator sergeant, use the hooded head from the the Ravenwing sprue, swap his sword for the one from the same sprue. Trim, bend, carve and fit the front of a robe from the DA veteran sprue until it fits. Festoon with whatever other DA iconography you have left over.

My belial is just a LC terminator with a bunch of stuff on it.

I always thought the Grand Master Stern model could make a really cool Belial model. You would have to switch the Grey Knight iconography to Dark Angels, but I think it could come out good.

Remember that the Dark Angels vet sprue has termie shoulder pads on it.

It's a shame you don't live in the UK as I could send you some of my spares.

Remember plastic is easy to convert with a razor saw & decent pastic glue (the stuff you apply with a brush not squeeze out of a bottle).

A note on this type of glue - ditch the brush that comes with the bottle & use a spare (cheap - eg GW) medium sized brush instead - much better control. Don't try to clean off the glue afterwards - it doesn't need it!

I use an interrogator chaplain as a stand-in for belial, since i'm 'counts as deathwing' and thus not having represent the actual belial.

I've seen some good terminator conversions on CMON using black-templar bodies, which would work for DA if you filed off all the BT insignias. Gives the terminator a bit of robe, since full body robes are tough to make anyways with the way the terminator armour is.

You could also just deck out a regular LC terminator with bits from the DA sprues.


Also, learn to get good with greenstuff. I've gotten to be pretty ninja just by buying the right tools, buying a 36" strip of GS, and going at'er. The more unnecessary greenstuffing you do the better you get.

i have another idea. I use the Chaplin in Terminator armor and replace the arms with sergeant arm with power weapon. i don't think a skull helmet is only for chaplin.

im gonna go looking around the cateloge at my local GW and see what i can find.
