Hey there

Anyone know of a good grey primer/undercoat spray can available? I'm in the UK so ideally something that's available over here. I need to spray undercoat an entirely metal army grey, ideally in one coat.

I'll settle for any sort of grey at the moment, but in an ideal world I'd have something halfway between Codex and Fortress greys...

Any suggestions?

If you guys have a home depot out there, they sell dirt cheap primers that work awesomely. 97 cents a can, and it covers like a dream.

I'm not sure what it's called, but it's the gray primer with the munchkin on the can. (Munchkin, what a great game).

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

Gah! I wish! Maybe B&Q or Wickes have something similar? Anyone know?

I'd buy from overseas but I think spray cans are quite a dodgy thing to get through customs!

Plastikote Grey Primer.

Works fine on metal and plastic. The primers the web site mentions for plastic and polystyrene are for polythene and expanded polystyrene. You don't need them for GW models.

You can get it from B&Q.

BTW your flag is American so I'm going to change it to UK.

If you can find them, Krylon makes both grey and white primers.

Fantastic products, cost less than 3 bucks a can.

Just make sure you get the ones with the blue and white "PRIMER" label on the front, because Krylon makes a LOT of different products.

Bellus bellum gratia.
