I am a starter with warhammer and i collect orks. I am going to make an ork tower that has a lot of battle damage. I want to add effects of rusting, which fortunatly i know how to do. I also want to put bullet hole effects on it. Does any body have an idea of how i could do this?

Many Thanks, Orcko Boy.

I usually use a tool with a sharp round point and jab a hole into (but not through) the plastic, wiggling it around to leave a partial irregular hole with a slightly raised edge. Then use a scalpel to cut a few irregular notches around the edges. The result is similar to the bullet damage on the Stompa kit, and looks pretty good, I think.

A purple room in England

I go right through with my bullet holes, pin vice through, widen abit as needed with a file and then use a knife to make it abit jaggedy and rough

Then painting is scorched brown around it, then boltgun metal leaving a little bit of brown in places and finish up with some small mithril silver highlights

Or you can use Orange, and dry brush it lightly on the silver paint. It makes for better rust color.

Depends on how old you want the rust to look.

New rust is more orange and powdery.
Old rust is more brown and crusty.
