Hi all
How the arc of sight works when from for example cannon on the hill aiming for Giant(he is behind other hill)? Can it shoot or not?
What about cannon shooting from "table height" at Giant behind hill?

To simplify matters it is a common understanding that hills block line of site to anything behind it.

Unless of course the target is large.
Hills don't block LOS to large targets as large targets can also see over hills.
The problem is the logistics of shooting a cannon --over-- said hill. There has been no clarification as of this edition, but in the last edition of the cannonball suffered its first bounce prior to the hill, it would hit the hill and stop, if the cannonball bounced on top of, the hill, it would continue and wounds anything behind the hill as normal. If the ball bounced behind the hill for the first time, it was considered to have moved as normal.

I see no reason not to employ the same method as before.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with the old method either. What astounds me, is that the eratta they had to make for the cannon dominated 4 pages in an article in White Dwarf... why in the world wouldn't they figure out a way to clarify that in the new book?

'Cause they don't have proofreaders?
