What do the marker lights do? I am only asking this because my Tau codex has yet to have a new one be done on it and it tells me that one of the options is to Ignore a Priority test. So I know Priority tests are no longer a part of the rules so what did they replace that with and what "New" stuff can marker lights do in the new rules?

Marker Lights still do exactly what it says in the Codex.

You simply ignore anything to do with Priority Tests, as per the current Rulebook FAQ, as they don't exist under the current rules.

When something doesn't have an effect in the current edition, they don't tend to modify it so that it doesn something else beneficial. You'll have to wait for the next codex to come out.

This is the same situation with the Command and Control Node in the battlesuit armoury. No effect whatsoever.
