Librarian moves one group away next turn depending on situation.
Rhino sits on home objective and provides covering fire from afar.

The army is named for the British Rocket project my (late) father worked on many years ago.
The minis are Ultramarines from the 6th and 1st companies (plus the DW, of course).

This is my first list here, but I'm reasonably thick-skinned (not ceramite, though) so have at it.
Cheers, Paul.

Well, I like the challenge to play small elite forces.
You spend many points on the HQ.
The Cmd squad is rather expensive, not sure if they are worth the points.
What seems a bit odd is the small Sternguard unit with plasma cannons and a Rhino.

The feature of this list is (meant to be) the ability to shoot or mix-it up, but on my terms (thanks to mobility).
The command squad is there to provide the kind of pure HtH killy-ness that is often lacking in biker armies.
The rhino-mounted Sternguard are effectively pseudo-devastators that can actually fight.

Welcome to the site! My great-uncle worked on the Blue Streak too, very cool piece of technology.

All individually powerful units in the list, I don't know enough about point costs to say how the command squad's equipment should be. Hellfire rounds seem like a bit of a luxury item though. Bikes are good, fun to convert and play too, I'm sure they'll work well.

Sternguard: I think that you need to combat squad before deployment, so only one combat squad can drop in (maybe drop pods have special rules I'm unaware of) and I thought only the sternguard sergeant could have a close combat upgrade - how are you getting a power fist and a lightning claw model? And can you have 2 heavy and 2 special weapons in the squad?

Anyway, I also think the sternguard in a rhino are out of place - they're one firebase unit (they aren't scoring) in a list full of fast, aggressive units. I think they'd be better off in a drop pod, piling in with your other squads. Left isolated in your deployment zone, most enemies have something capable of dropping in and wiping them out. Plasma cannons are great, but you've paid for fancy bolters and you're not using them. Combi-weapons and a power fist suit the unit much better.

Good luck on the field, it's a perfectly fine list, but I think you should go all out on the offense, since its not an army made for holding ground in a long-range fight. Please clarify the way the large SG/DW unit works, I'm a bit lost there.

Agreed. Bikes are an aggressive shooting army. You want them to generally (other than the command squad) stay just out of reach of combat and to pour shots into everything.

Your sternguards would be much better off replaced with more bikes or landspeeders (You'll get speeders if you buy the ravenwing box to get your bikes anyway).

Q: How many of a specific demographic group are required to carry out a simple task?
A: An arbitrary number. One to carry out the task in question, and the remainder to act in a manner stereotypical of the group.
