From Graham McNeill's blog recently
Iron Warrior
But…as I said, Iron Warrior is finished. And what, pray tell, is Iron Warrior, I hear you ask. Well, it’s something of a new venture, and I don’t want to say too much, but I think you’re going to really like it. No prizes for guessing which traitor legion it’s about, but the stuff the design guys have got going on for this book is making my mouth water just thinking about it.
This came up on the BL boards today and we were told...
There will be more about this very special, hardback, direct from Black Library only, supreme quality and full of added extras item in the near future ...
Sounds good to me, more than happy to read more about Honsou.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

I hope Graham can make him even more of an impressive bastard than he already was in Dead Sky, Black Sun. I mean between his raid into the enemy siege trenches and kicking a sleeping Bloodthirster in the head and calling it a lazy piece of gak..

Honsu does well in the Space Marine Heros book. Not all heros are on the side of the Imperium. Heh.

Do you read the short stories in Planetkill and Heroes of the Space marines ?
Worth a read if you get the chance.

planetkill was horrible...
but i am intrigued by the statement, y design studio I am imagining he is referring to the 40k design studio, the same group that does all the miniatures and rules of our beloved tabletop wargame... I wonder what could be in store for us in the future

I really like Honsou in Storm of Iron. The UM book kinda killed the character for me though. That short story featunring him and his crew was okay and could be a nice setup for the future book.

I just finished reading Storm of Iron and enjoyed it very much. It alllllllmost made me want to start an Iron Warriors army, which is impressive because I've never been drawn to the Ruinous Powers. If Design puts out some special character models I might be tempted though...

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money
"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

A galaxy far far away

The Iron Warriors story in Heroes of the Space Marines leads into events in the next Ultramarine/Iron Warriors corssover book, since Honsou has such a hard on for killing Ultramarines after the last time they met in Dead Sky Black Sun.
