So this week in my 2nd league ever I got paired up against CSM.

I get roll to deploy and go first.
Board has a bunker in the middle (blocking LoS) and terrain on the edges of the board, with 2 difficult terrain pieces in each corner. I deploy my armor in a line with the LR on the far left, LRBT next to it, then the HQ Chimera, Vet Chimera, Sentinel, and finally the other LRBT. The Infantry Squads set up behind each LRBT, the HW team sets up on the difficult terrain since its tall, and the PCS goes next to them. All of this on the forward edges of my deployment zone.
He sets up with his Daemon Prince right behind the bunker as far forward as it can go, with a Rhino on either side of him. Defiler sits on the difficult terrain in his corner to get better LoS and Termies sit in reserve to deepstrike.
He fails to seize the initiative and we start.
IG Turn 1
So I move forward 6" with the LRBTs, 1 infantry squad and chimeras. HW team, 1 missile team and LR sit where they are. The LR fires at the Defiler, immobilizing it. Missile launcher fires at the Rhino on the right, missing it. Autocannons, after a Bring it Down order, fire at the Defiler (I only roll 3 dice though, forget until turn 3 they are 2 shots each) and they take the battlecannon off. My footslogging vet squad fire krak nades at the Berzerkers rhino (leftmost) and cause it to explode. The Berzerkers save the resulting 4 wounds. So my leftmost LRBT fires, scoring a hit with the battlecannon, and kills all of them except for Kharn.
Rightmost LRBT and the sentinel fire at the Obliterators, killing both due to failed saves (lascannon insta kills 1, plasma cannon and a heavy bolter shot kill the other.)
CSM Turn 1
The Daemon Prince moves up next to the bunker to hide from any fire, and Kharn does the same. The CSM rhino fires its havoc launchers at the exposed infantry squad, and kill 4 soldiers, and wound the heavy weapons team. They hold their ground. The defiler fires its autocannon at the Vet squad in the open, killing 2.
IG Turn 2
LRBT on the left moves up, and the LR moves onto a small hill next to it. Vet chimera moves up, while the vet squad in the open moves back behind the LR. Sentinel moves up 6" and the rightmost LRBT moves 6". LR shoots at defiler, taking off the havoc launcher. Autocannons fail their order, but fire at the defiler anyway, but only roll a 2 on results (ignored due to Daemonic Possession). The rest of shooting is concentrated on the CSM Rhino since its the only thing in view, but all penetrating and glancing hits result in a Crew Shaken result (so terrible).
CSM Turn 2
Daemon Prince jumps over the bunker, and Kharn moves around its right side. The CSM, unable to fire, decide to ram my sentinel. I choose Death or Glory, but fail to stop it. So the sentinel is hit on armor 10, and he rolls a penetrating hit. Luckily he rolls Crew Shaken, so no harm done. Daemon prince assaults an infantry squad, killing 4 guys. Guard strike back, but do no wounds. They hold their ground with a double 1.
Termies come in behind my right most LRBT and cause a Shaken result with the autocannon.
IG Turn 3
LR pivots, leftmost LRBT moves towards the Defiler, rightmost moves 12" past the Rhino/Sentinel collision. Vet chimera backs up 6" from collision/towards Daemon prince. PCS hops down from their platform. Shooting sees a lightning claw terminator vaped by the LR. Multilasers, missile and other stuff fires at the Rhino, shaking it and taking the Havoc launcher off. leftmost LRBT fires at the defiler, destroying it. Sentinel assaults the Rhino, but doesnt do anything to it.
In a poorly thought out scenario, the PCS charges the Daemon Prince. Daemon Prince runs down his original target (Infantry squad) and the PCS fails to do anything to it.
CSM Turn 3
Rhino moves up 12", Kharn rounds the corner of the bunker, and Termies decide to move behind some cover to block LoS. Kharn assaults the vet chimera, wrecking it. The Daemon Prince finishes off the PCS, consolidating 2".
IG Turn 4
Leftmost LRBT moves around the bunker, other LRBT backs up next to it. Sentinel moves towards the rhino. CCS Chimera backs up 4" or so. footslogging vet squad moves out from behind the LR, aiming at the prince. The other vet squad moves towards the CCS Chimera. Autocannons get the bring it down order, hitting and wounding the Daemon prince 3 times, and he fails 2 saves! The LR fires at the Daemon prince, rolling a 1 to wound with Lascannons, but the Heavy Bolters are dead on and he fails 2 more saves! Half strength infantry squad fires at the rhino, causing it to explode. Causes 3 wounds, 2 of which are saved. LRBT fires at the exposed CSM and scores a hit with the battlecannon killing all but the champ and 2 flamers.
Sentinel fires at the CSM but it scatters onto Kharn, giving him a wound.
CSM Turn 4
Kharn moves around the Chimera, and the CSM move up 6". CSM fire flamers into the Melta vet squad, and kill all but the sarge and 1 gunner (removed melta and grenades to get them out of charge range). Kharn moves next to the CSM with his movement but doesnt fire his plasma pistol. Termies come out from behind the terrain and fire at the Sentinel's Rear armor, immobilizing it.
IG Turn 5
LRBTs back up 6", while everything else fires at the CSM, except the LR which fires at Kharn. Kharn fails his cover and is vaped with a lascannon, while mass autocannon and lasgun fire cause the CSM to keep rolling armor saves until he fails enough for them all to die.
Battlecannons fire at the Termies, but 1 scatters, and both lascannons miss and he makes his saves.
CSM Turn 5
Termies move and assault the sentinel, ripping its gun off. Sentinel attacks back, but does nothing.
IG Turn 6
No shooting as Termies are locked in combat with the sentinel, Sentinel causes a wound, but its saved. Termies cause the sentinel to explode, but save their wounds.
CSM Turn 6
Termies move towards the LRBTS, but cant scratch em with shooting, so they run instead.
Game ends with a roll of 3.

Not bad for my sub optimal IG list. Albeit the CSM player seems to be a bit new.
