I've been looking for a while for something different to replace or add to the old metal scarabs in my 2nd/3rd edition-era Necron army.
A few months back, I stumbled across a whole bundle of these little plastic spiders in a toy store, being cleared out post-Halloween.
The detail on them isn't great, so they're not good as actual spiders, but painted up in boltgun metal, they make awesome little mecha-spiders:
That's 3 of them on a 40mm base. Which leaves me with plenty of them for boosting my scarab collection, and a whole lot left over (which can rather coincidentally be found in the UTC Webstore ).

Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

I think its funny/odd how before you painted them, they looked really bad. Yet after the paint, they actually look good. Nice find
