[edit] Didn't even really look at the first list, grenade launchers are lame, there were a lot of stuff just there for no reason.

I like where you are going but your anti-tank is only short ranged, which is bad in a guard army consisting of T3 5+ save dudes. you want to be nowhere near your opponent.

suggestion: trade autocannons for lascannons in the squads, drop the heavy teams. the heavy teams are just wasted models, they will die to the first gun that looks at them and their kill point can't be avoided.

Rest of it looks great, i'd use te extra points after taking out the heavies to add stuff to your CCS/PCS like flags and the such, commisars are good too.

As far as I can tell the 1000 pt list is illegal, you've only got one troops choice.

I think a commissar is better off in an infantry squad (you can blob up to create a large, stubborn unit) than in a command squad where he executes a more valuable model and could easily be picked off by wound allocation.

Are heavy flamers really a good idea on LRs? To use it, you've got to get very close, where you're vulnerable to assault and your own scattering blasts.

The inquisitor doesn't need a power weapon, he won't kill anything anyway. How about dropping the stormtroopers and some infantry for mechanised veterans? No deepstriking, but more survivable and they're scoring units.

Eldar Corsairs: 4000 pts
Imperial Guard: 4000 pts

Corregidor 700 pts
Acontecimento 400 pts

Lol you're right, I didn't realise

I find them very useful when they come to you. Demolishers are meant to advance/ hold ground at close range and therefor will definately get close to enemies whether you like it or not. The Exec; people go for it, but maybe a HB would be better

How dare you say that!!! Well...you may be right but my passion for Inqs seems to boost them on. In the few games i've played with him he's racked up; two SM captains, a librarian, a Rhino (i had the psychic power which doubles your strength), countless nameless troopers and...Abaddon. And I have a very useful habit of rolling 6s with him =).

No.

Confused unit roles, multi-tasking badly. Poor upgrade choices in general. Very fractured list layout, hard to read thus hard to give feedback on.

Your missing out on some essential bits of wargear. 10pts, even for one turn of use, is well worth the benifits it can yeild with the units your fielding.

Mortars squads, Seriously?

etc.

10 pts of what? Which units are "confused"? Can you actually give points instead of just abusing me?

Lots foot troops + limited-no orders = bad.

Lots of foot troops + no Regimental standard = also bad.

Over both lists youve wasted alot of points on stuff without really defining any theme with realistic weapons or loadouts.

Okay, your amended post is better but its easy to miss out as you havent edited your original post, do that. Also your list format is so shocklingly bad and hurts my brain, its hard to tell what youve fielded.

Things like; Why bother fielding Infantry sqaud lascannons when they have no vox and no Orders! Support. If that foot-based 2nd CCS is to order them, why do they have a meltaguns? Meltaguns have 12" range. Surely a regimental standard, vox and lascannon team sounds better, no? Same points, too, so no excuses there.

Both lists are generally bad.
