I'm kind of surprised by the relative scarcity of NYCers (and nearby areas) here.

Who all else is around the Big Apple?

the complete strategist has weekly 40k gaming events. Its on 32nd between 5th and Madison.

We have a club that meets in white plains on mondays for open gaming, http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/BattleforSalvation/ . We run events and the random tournament here and there as well. There's anything from 10-20+ people who show up on any given night and you can set up games on the yahoo group, although pick up games happen all the time as well. We are mostly a 40k playing club although there are a few fantasy players hiding among the group.

There is also open gaming at comic book heaven in white plains as well on fridays and sundays. Attendance is totally random and it's best to set a game up beforehand if you want to head there.

Sadly, I think most of the gaming at the Compleat Strategist is during the weekdays.

Comic Book Heaven isn't bad, though it's definitely a very 40k-centric group.

Im play in the NYC. I usally hang out at the hobby shop on 8th Street - Greenwich Village. We have alot of players there and have about 10 games a day? ( i dont really know i usally hang out from 12:00 to 4:00)
