1. What is the most common Encounter Level you seem to play at home or at your FLGS?
2. How does the whole play them against Iron Kingdoms Armies thing work?
3. What is a good minion to get for a Skorne Army? Any help would be great and appreciated

500 or 750 points.
2. How does the whole play them against Iron Kingdoms Armies thing work?
As long as you're playing the same edition, the two games are compatible. Pick a point
level and play. Abilities stipulate whether they affect Fury or Focus, etc.
3. What is a good minion to get for a Skorne Army? Any help would be great and appreciated
This one I'm not sure of. Swamp Gobbers, I guess.

I don't play Skorne but I'll tell you which ones I rate with what I play and play against..
1. Swamp Gobbers - Such utility so little points.
2. Saxon Orik - Plays well with my Cryx, lots of utility.
3. Gatormen - Very potent, especially against Hordes.
4. Feralgeist - Again cheap and useful.
5. Gudrun the Wanderer - Reliable and difficult to kill.
6. Bog Trogg Ambushers - Good flankers
7. Farrow Bonegrinders - Lots of utility with high magic Warlocks.
8. Magnus the Warlord and four Renegades - Most unplesant, not so hot in MkII.

Have you ever come across the totem hunter? His fluff seems bad a but i have no idea how he plays. This local forum I posted in has a total hardon for magnus lol.

Yes, he's a little expensive IMO and *never* seems to make anything of his Totem Reaper ability. On the other hand he has Pathfinder and Stealth so he'd probably be quite useful to the Skorne; who generally lack Pathfinders.

Yeah i don't have one in my entire army. That would be really handy. Lol i like how my hordes posts are getting more informed as i read through this book. Yay reading best life skill ever
Also base coating the skin on titan gladiators is way harder then i thought it would be.

I'm just glad to hear you're painting!!!
Pathfinder and Stealth are probably two of the most useful skills in the game as it pretty much lets you dictate the charge regardless of terrain. Too bad no weapon master, god I love my Manhunters...

MKII at least allows you to charge in rough terrain.

Some models are both Mercenaries and Minions (such as Gudrun the Wanderer) these models will work for Hordes, otherwise no.

I used 3 kinds of grey and a black wash on the really deep places. It still doesnt look like elephant skin but it looks alright. Automatically Appended Next Post: What would be a better warlock to run with a Warbeast heavy army? Morguhl?

Try some flesh colors mixed in with the greys sometime, at least with the highlights. It gives the skin more of a natural look. It's also one of those instances where drybrushing might look better than careful layering, since skin color on organic surfaces is generally uneven.
I'm too lazy to find it myself, but I bet you could find an article somewhere on Lord of the Rings Mumakil, and their skin is basically the same.
