Been reading your forum today, thought I'd sign up...

I played 40k... I think almost 7 years ago :O...

A friend has recently started up a regular 40k club and I'm interested in joining, is this the appropriate forum for asking newbie 40k questions ?

We were all noobs at one point. 'cept Gwar, for he lives in the warp where time and space matters little.

Welcome to Dakka. I been playing 40k for much less than that. (I don't count collecting a single leman russ cos it "looked cool" as playing).

I'm totally out of the loop in regards to new armies and what not.

When I stopped playing I think the eldar Codex was just released (or maybe nids).

Well I still have about 20 Khorne Bezerkers, an old school chaos Rhino, Kharn, Chaos Lord.

My original inclination was to just build that army up, I quite like the rushing my Berzerkers into combat, pretty easy to paint. They also kinda have the benefits of space-marines without being space marines


I remember when first playing Necrons were all mysterious and seemed pretty cool.... I've had a bit of a read of them... they seem... kinda average I suppose.
Anyone able to tell me how good things like Phase out, and 'We will be back' are?
