Can posessed outflank if they get scout special rule? Ofcource they can if thay are already ploaced in reserve but can if they aren't (they did this in wd 353 May 2009, it's the big ig issue) I'm saing that they can't do this.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

Thats wrong the order goes as follows

1)Deployment units may be deployed on the board, or place in reserve declaring if they will DS or outlank
2)Roll on Possessed Abilities table
3)Turn 1

See they don't get to out flank till after they've been deployed or place in reserve so can never benefit.

(edited to remove comment about the ability of WD writers to find their backside with both hands)

I'd have no problem with my opponent rolling the power before deployment so he can actually be sure of Outflanking if he gets it. But as the rules stand now it's a useless power unless you risk placing the piggies in reserve to start with.

This is up to you, but this doesnt follow RaW. Also scouting allows the unit a free move before the first turn, even if deployed in a dedicated transport (in which case they may move up to 12"). It is one of the biggest downsides of possessed that you only know what their ability is after you have deployed them.

If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?

Technically, even if kept in reserve, you can't Outflank them.

You need so declare how they are coming onto the board when you put them in reserves. And at that point, they don't have Scouts.

For all we know, the authors could have decided to house rule it, and either not mention it in the article or have the mention get cut for space. The fact remains that the rules as they are presented in the codex do not allow possessed with scout to outflank because they have already been deployed before the die is cast for their powers, and no rule exists which would allow the unit to be redeployed.

All you get is the whacky fun of a scout move.

And a good night's rest, secure in the knowledge that you paid 26 ppm for what amounts to a S5 Chaos Marine.

and its not like you can take a character that gives you strength 5 Chaos Marines for 5pts each.
