Seconded - these are fantastic (but they are a bit less wolf-blinged than expected).
Also, yes, how did you paint them?
Very nicely done!
(Clearly you may not have painted any Space Wolves in 10 years, but you must have been painting something! )

Very nice.
With the rumored new codex in the works you will have plenty more SW-y mini's available to add to your AoBr box soon-ish.

Thanks guy's!
These are just the black reach minis so not too wolfy. I did the armor by base coating them in krylon satin black, then overbrushing them in vallejo 72048 sombre grey, and a dry brush of space wolves grey for all the highlights. Pretty simple stuff, since I'm not that good.
Alpharius: As for mini's in general I just got back into gaming after close to 10 years. So the most I've been painting lately has been full size cars.
As for the general lack of wolfy bits, I have a SW battle force box that I'm putting together now and any spare bits left over will find their way onto these for sure!

They look nice!
Maybe paint their stormbolters in a differnet color, painting them in som deep read color would go nice with the yellow shoulder and ans spacwolf grey armor, or black if you feel like playnig it safe.

So no wash, just the steps you listed here? It's a very simple process but very good results!

Yes sir, no wash at all on the armor. I did use a sepia wash on the skulls, purity seals and the skin of the leader.

Yeah I have dozens upon dozens of extra SW decal sets form many many years ago. I could probably paint the wolf emblem on a flat surface ok but I know the proportions would be all messed up if I tried it on a shoulder pad. I just used some small decals that fit nicely and blotted them with a paper towel to flatten them out, then once dry I overcoated them with 'ardcoat.
