If chaos terminators move can they still fire single shot.
Also same question, but with hurricane bolters on land raiders and ironclads.

Vehicles fire all weapons as if they did not move, so yes.
Chaos terminators can move and fire heavy weapons, but do not count as stationary for rapid fire, so no. They can still assault after firing heavy/rapid fire weapons though.

You don't have to be stationary to fire a rapid fire weapon... you simply cannot assault after firing a rapid fire weapon unless the unit makes use of some other special rules like relentless. Rapid fire weapons do not have a choice to rapid fire or not. If the only weapon a unit has is rapid fire then you will be rolling two shots instead of one at a targeted unit within 12 in.

If you move with rapid fire you can only fire half range, I thik that is what he meant.

But you still take advantage of the rapid fire rule (firing two shots at targets within 12 in.) even if you move.

The eye of terror.

ph34r did not say that you cannot fire a rapid fire weapon if you move, he merely said that chaos terminators do not count as stationary when they do so, which is true. The original poster asked if a chaos terminator can move and fire a single shot with their rapid fire weapons. Since there will never be an opportunity to fire and not be within 12" (since they do not count as stationary) they will not be able to fire a single shot.
