Now, I see lots of themed demons lists but I havent yet seen one that comprised forces from all the Demon Gods. There is no restriction in the codex (in reguards to what im fielding, anyways) and it has been known for all the gods to fight on the same side. Lets say I think of my Skulltaker as the fully demonised Abbadon.

I know some of this may be a bit sketchy but, a lil tactic; Deep-strike a safe distance with the Icon'ed bloodcrushers (with a low 12" charge), deep-strike the Slaaneshi prince (Im thinking of modelling an Avatar, fancy colours & a custom pose) directly via the icon within Pavane range, bringing the target unit closer to me. It essentially gives me a vague form of Fleet on a 2+.

I thought it was pretty well rounded too. Shame I cant bump my own post anymore!

The only thing I don't like is the DP and I would trade MoS for SD on the heralds. I've found that if your're going to be close enough to use breath you may as well assault too, and 5 "force" weapon attacks at str4 init5 isn't bad.

How do you find those fiends work for you?

Ohnestly, this is the thinkings preluding to me getting a demon force.

But ive had experience with rending in close-combat, its awesome. Ive had experience with beasts getting into close-combat & again, its awesome.. So im kinda thinking they'll be alrite. I cant think of a unit they wont be able to deal with (ofc, that is at full strength). Its the large charge range, 6 attacks per model on a charge with str5 rending attacks, one @ str6. The 2wounds + demon + invunerable save and ability to deep-strike away from the enemy, allowing units like the bloodcrushers and heralds to absorb some fire, is handy too.

As for the SD on the heralds.. Perhaps, those force weapons are more importantly power weapons which is all fair and well. How useful will one pavane be in this list? And secondly, how fragile is a demon prince without a MoT or Iron Hide?

I like the idea of fiends, and 6 are a bargain for under 200 pts, but they still are fragile.
All in all, I like your army w/ the exception of your very small troop squads. I would consider bumping them up a bit, but not sure where the points would come from.

You could cut a unit of fiends and go for two squads of 5 nurglings, or use those points to bolster a unit or two. That would likely make your list stronger than a few more rending attacks.

Ahh nurgle plague bearers are there to capture objectives. Just doing that, those 15 should do it fine. It is only 1500pts.

I think the MSU troop choices will be fine. As for the nurglings? Why would I ever want them, for what I want my troops to do? Swarms cant capture objectives.

I guess I'm juts used to seeing 'Ard Boyz lists lately so throw away objective contesters seemed like a decent idea.
