Show where people have to survive in a post apocalyptic world, on discovery I think. Quite cool. I like the old Handyman guy, he's almost bitter and paranoid enough...

Sounds stupid, like every other apocalyptic film or show around. Knowing was horrible, The Day After Tomorrow was sensationalist pseudo-science, and zombie movies are... well, they're zombie movies. The only good apocalyptic-ish show I actually like is Jericho, which doesn't really count because only the USA gets screwed over.

Oh, and it's reality TV. I never watch that crap.

Its not a drama and its by the makres of Deadliest Catch. Interesting to see the psychological development and poses what if questions for myself.

The fishing show? Seems like an odd path for the makers to go down.

In the UK we had an SF series called The Survivors, in which 99% of humans were wiped out by a weaponised mutant flu virus. The original was in the 1970s. It got remade a couple of years ago.

I liked the new survivors, even if I missed the final episode, I got to hate all the characters, each for a different reason. Never saw the old ones although I am told that they were more about the survival element
