Looks like moulding problems forced Ramshackle to remake their Boring Machine sculpt, which looks to have been improved quite a bit. The price went up to compensate (it is a 450-gram hunk-o-resin), though, but at £8 a pop they're still reasonably cheap, and perfect for that Pulp Sci-Fi vibe.

(Thanks to TTGN for the scoop)

A most interesting model, a perfect representation for "deep-striking" Krieg engineers or representing that good old Epic unit whose name I can't recall just now.

The Termite or Mole are probably the ones you're thinking of. IIRC the Mole is the larger of the two.

The drilling head details are actually better in the rebuilt version than the original, there's now some actual grinding tool looking things on there, not just a big screw.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

More good stuff from Ramshackle

I have Isembard Kickass Brunel, he's also a very cool sculpt.

Ork players should check out their vehicles.

Wow, their Admiral Leopold Horatio III is just the model I was looking for to represent a pompous Rogue Trader. They've got some choice models. Thanks for pointing me at this site!

Just as a heads up, Ramshackle tends to catch flak for using cheap resin. Their prices can't be beat, though.

I'll be surprised if their quality is even worse than FW.

Well, by all accounts, the resin they use, is.

Then again as you have said can't really expect too much as it only costs 8 pounds.

As if on cue, you hear two people singing from the stairwell, and the door is opened and a pair of very smelly, very dirty guardsmen stumble in, completely drunk, and covered in vomit, and immediately collapse unconsious on the porch. You drag them to their beds, realising that they will not be waking up for some time.

Thanks for the link.

I have always wanted to do a waste/junk world IG force. Most of the models would have a bit of a "Mad Max" feel to it. I found quite a few models that could help me get a start on this.

I'm back!

I liked their stuff. Looks cool - Alice in Wonderland meets steam punk.

I've used them and while the resin may be cheap I've had none of the problems people get from Forgeworld and frankly with a £5 model rather than a £50 one I wouldn't have minded much if I did! Their sculpts are characterful and look great they also gave me some free stuff with the last order swiftly delivered with everything I'd requested. They even apologised for it being late when it arrived before I expected it. I'll be a customer for them again! Much recommended

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Wow. 8 pounds? I'll have to consider using these instead of drop pods.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.
