Hey all.
I'm Wargamer, former GMod and obsessive (21K+) poster of Tau Online.
Tau Online is essentially gone forever... the admin has decided to pretty much destroy the site, and so I need somewhere new to discuss 40K.
And so, I have come to you good people!

Yes, they were. However, the new Admin has pretty much turned around and said "I'm just using this site to make money". You can imagine how well that went down with the community...

Eh, i took a look around. Having a non-warhammer related admin (if he is such a person) is quite unusual. Things look to improve in time though. Can't say i was always satisfied with how TO functioned. I think everyone's just a bit thrown out of sorts with the very badly handled change. The generic forum look is annoying.
Less pictures of guys kissing though, that's not helping anything.

Eh, we can't do anything about that because the Admin didn't give his Mods / "Super Mods" any powers.
That, and nobody particularly cares if his site gets trolled now. There's a lot of issues "out of sight" as well.

Wow! I just took a gander at that site, and it seems pretty screwed to me. I pray to God Yakface never does anything like that here. Thankfully, we're blessed with a good admin/mod team here.
