Can an IG exchange his laspistol for a shotgun and exchange his CCW for a PF?
It says he may exchange his laspistol and/or CCW for one of the following, so I guess I'm asking how many times may units select....optional....options?

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

He sure can. Sounds like good potential for a cool looking model too.
Reloading would be a pain though.

Exactly my point. He just gets an extra str 3 shot as the pistol does nothing for the attacks with a PF.

@AdeptArtificer - Sneaky, hidden Power Fists have been the death of many the underestimating foe! Plus the shotgun is free to exchange.

No problem, that best part it covers up that grip that has a hand attached to it so you don't have to do the classic shotgun pose.
And yes the shotgun in free and the PF is 15pts on a vet sgt. He still wounds marines on a 2+.
