A Space Marine Librarian can have a Boltpist or a Boltgun. If he takes the Bolt Pistol does he keep it if he takes terminator armour or is it lost?

Can he then take a Combimelta?

Will he have an additional attack in CC since he has a Boltpistol, Combiweapon, Force Weapon?

See the Codex: The Librarian loses his Power Armour, Boltgun, Frag and Krak Grenades if he takes Terminator Armour.

Given that the option for taking a Boltgun is lost when he takes Terminator Armour, then the co-option of alternately taking a Bolt Pistol is also lost.

So no, he will not have an additional attack in close combat for having a Bolt Pistol, Combi-Weapon, and Force Weapon because taking Terminator Armour eliminates the option of having a Bolt Pistol.

So does he keep the bolt pistol if he has normal power armour and a combiweapon??

No, he doesn't 'keep' it in that situation, since he can't have had it in the first place.

In order to get the combi weapon, you have to swap the bolter for it.

If you take the bolter to swap for the combi weapon, you can't also take the bolt pistol, since the entry only lets you take one or the other.

In the same way that the Librarian loses the option of having a Bolt Pistol or Boltgun when he takes Terminator Armour, the Librarian loses the option of having a Bolt Pistol or Boltgun when he swaps that option for Combi-Weapon.

The answer is a bit simpler than that, if you take a bolt pistol, you cannot have either of those upgrades, because you do not have a bolter to trade in for it.

So if you take a bolt pistol you can't take the term armour. Grrr I hate you librarian I hate you so much and your two attacks.
